JKinggz, born Jeremiah Mattis, is originally from St. Vincent; he moved to Brooklyn as a teen. He has always been inspired by music, especially Hip-Hop.

Music gave him an outlet to express his struggles and experiences and convey them to his peers. In tenth grade, he started writing his own lyrics and would perform for his friends.

Jkinggz has since worked with Spliff Star and PaperRock conglomerate, which led to him performing as an opening act for Gucci mane after his first hit song “Swipey” which was a collab went viral.

Currently jkinggz have been keeping busy working on new music and have

since released the song “birthday” a collaboration with an upcoming African artist, this was well received on the African market.

His most recent project “Patek” is also making waves here in the U.S. Patek was previously released in January and he is now anticipating the release of the video.

After the release of Patek, jkinggz will be releasing his completed ep called “30 days, the life changing project”. This project will talk about his life experiences from his birth country and how a very serious charge brought against him helped to change his outlook on life and how music helped him through it all.
