As a dedicated contributor to the culture, it was essential for me to connect directly with Phajáe and O'RAIAN to gain deeper insight into their mission. These talented artists are truly earning their way up the charts, and I wanted to know more about their journey. - DJ Kurupt

Q: What were two of the very first hip hop and rap songs that you guys fell in love with upon hearing for the first time?

Phajáe: Not afraid by Eminem. The day it dropped, I watched the music video at a young age, and it really made me feel like I wasn't afraid of anything. Another song that resonated with me a lot as an artist who continues to keep my head high and persevere through it all is "Apparently" by J Cole.

O'RAIAN: "Doubt It" by KYLE was the first hip hop song I memorized by heart. The sunny chill vibe drew me into it because that's always been my whole thing, to be chill. It was the first hip hop song that I heard that represented who I am.

Q: How do you see the world of Hip Hop today in terms of popularity? What stands out to you the most, both good and bad?

Phajáe: The music scene is sort of good because everybody is catching a vibe and having fun. However, the problem for me is that no one is creating with longevity in mind, only focusing on the moment and the trend.

O'RAIAN: Hip Hop is cool right now, but I don't really think the mainstream aspect of it is the best part. I appreciate the underground sounds more than anything because one thing I love about Hip Hop is its ability to sound different every time you hear it.

Q: What inspires you the most to write music?

Phajáe: I use music as a form of release therapy for those who don't know how to put their feelings into words. It's a way for me to express myself and connect with others.

O'RAIAN: The main thing that motivates me to make music is the ability to make people feel like they're in a movie scene. Music has the power to connect people who are feeling the same way. I think of life as one big movie, and music is an integral part of every scene.

Q: What should we expect next from you guys? Any upcoming releases or projects fans should prepare for?

Phajáe: We have a few tracks on the way, including a special collaboration with Three 6 Mafia. Fans can also expect a lot more music-related content coming real soon!

O'RAIAN: Same answer as my brother's above. We're excited to share our new music and projects with our fans around the world. Stay tuned!
