Scilence is an American rapper and songwriter from P.G County Maryland. Her love for music started when her mother would play the Fugees, Stevie Wonder and Mary J. Bilge around the house. Growing up, she took much interest in music and was passionate learning the electric guitar, piano and later took up drums. She released her first single “Drip So Dumb” in July 2017, which was well received with positive review and massive download in popular online media outlet. “Drip So Dumb” is her first single off of her anticipated album titled “The Red Cup Demo” produced by Lasik Beats. This track was a hit and received massive airplay, the song earned Scilence a second place in the largest artist showcase in the world, the coast2coast live showcase in Richmond on May 17, 2017, where she thrilled her eager fans leaving them wanting more.
Scilence has being compared to Missy Elliot and Dej Loaf by coast2coast live showcase. The much waited video of “Drip So Dumb” was directed by vision twenty films and in Virginia Beach. It was officially released on youtube on June 17, 2017. Scilence has helped opened up four local artists in her town. Scilence has performed at Shaka’s live, The Nauticus, Club Infuzion, Club vertigo and local bars. Her influence are the great rap legend and rap god Tupac Shakur and Eminem respectively, according to her, “they inspire me to put a lot of personality into my music.”
