“Hooliii” is an up and coming artist from East Harlem, New York. He started writing music in 2009 but didn’t start releasing anything until 2012. When asked about the time gap, he said, “the music just wasn’t right and I wasn’t taking it seriously enough.” It wasn’t until a close friend of his was murdered that he decided he needed to focus on other outlets out of his environment; he chose music . After releasing some freestyles, and dropping two mixtapes, he changed his approach to music in 2017. He released the music video for “Perspective Poverty II” in 2019, as well as two other videos, “Dear Bonnie” and “Father, God” the same year. After a myriad of other releases, it doesn’t look like Hooliii is slowing down or stopping any time soon.
