Sammy Rigaud is an independent artist, teacher, and rapper born and raised in North Miami, FL but is
currently based in East Atlanta, Georgia. As witnessed, teachers are changing the stereotypes for our
generation, and Sammy Rigaud is among the best of them. He was introduced to the masses thanks
to a viral video he shared through his Facebook Live Feed. Mr. Rigaud shared a video from his
classroom that shows off a reward for his students. If the students in the class receive an 80
percent or better on their weekly assignments, they get to kick back and drop some bars in
class every week with “Freestyle Fridays.” As the video began to go viral, rapper 6lack
expressed his delight in it and said he wanted to stop by the class after seeing their
