We caught up with independent R&B/Hip Hop artist Kw.Y.IT. The artist coming off his
first project "SowLo" is looking to make big waves with his current singles in the works.
Kw.Y.IT has been making music for just over a year now. Finding his faith in Jesus Christ
alongside his support and love from Wife and Kid is what inspires Kw.Y.IT to continue to
make music. He knows that good production is also always a must, especially, with dreams
of sharing a stage with J. Cole. one day. Going through a rough patch in his life, he got so
consumed in being a good husband, father, brother, ect. he realized that he needed to start
focusing on his music career full time. With a new project in the works with hops of it dropping
early new year alongside with a single in the near future. Kw.Y.IT has yet to get in front of a live
crowd but knows the day is coming soon, seeing himself being the next big name out of North
Carolina in five years from now. Only being a year into his music career, Kw.Y.IT was impacted
by the Covid-19 pandemic in a more positive way. He had no other choice but to focus on the
life that was currently in front of him. There are so many distractions today, it’s like the humanity
of a person suffers. Kw.Y.IT says he had to look closer at his career, health, relationships, and most
importantly my spirituality to show him the next steps he needed to take in fulfilling his music career.
