Seattle, WA artist, Xperience, has released a new song and a pairing music video, “Peacockin’.” Produced by Kuddie Fresh, the song also includes additional vocals by Mr. Talkbox, and trumpet played by Farnell Newton.
The song presents an upbeat, vibey tempo that makes you want to bop your head. The synthesized vocals from Mr. Talkbox add an extra harmonic flair to the song. The tune is all about stepping out with your friends on the weekend, with your flex in high gear.
The visuals reign true to the meaning of the song, encouraging viewers to rise up and dance, no matter what situation or setting. Included in the music video are tiled segments with people all around the world dancing to Xperience’s song.
“We are all stuck at home for quarantine, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a dance party at home! So I asked friends from all over the world to film themselves dancing to my new song,” said Xperience. “We were able to showcase many different styles of dance, as well as let people rep a charity in their city or country.” A percentage of the proceeds of “Peacockin’” will be donated to The Residency, a Seattle youth program dedicated to help youth achieve their musical goals.
