Matt Citron released the video for “Save My Soul,” found on his debut project Final Moments of Forever (Brooklyn Knights/Sony RAL). Directed by Shomi Patwary and shot in NYC’s Lower East Side, the aggressive visuals find Matt channeling the same ferocity heard in his lyrics.
Matt Citron explains, “I wanted to make sure I captured the aggressive urgency of the song in the video. Honestly my biggest influence for the visual was probably the main chase scene from "The Dark Knight". I told Shomi, the director, how I wanted to bring it to life, and his team understood exactly what I was envisioning. I rarely give this much insight into my work, but I think it's obvious that the song is unapologetically human and super in your face. I just had to crank up that feeling even more when it came time to put it into a visual form.”
