Upcoming Bay Area Rap Artist Previously Featured By 50 Cent Website Releases His First R&B/Rap Single- “I Use to to Dream”

Iraqi American San Francisco Bay Area Rap artist “AJTheKid” who was mentored by the Bay Area Rap Legend “The Jacka”, and featured on 50 Cent’s website, does something different and releases his first R&B/Rap single- “I Use to Dream” May 24th…. This track is for high school sweethearts, couples, lovers, and the hopeless romantics as well as single people just dealing with love or regretting past relationship decisions. The song is definitely something anyone who has ever been in a relationship or felt butterflies or love will relate too. It’s also an amazing single. It’s not “AJTheKid’s” usual style.

 

When I asked "AJTheKid" why he wrote an R&B/Rap song which is a departure from his usual “hood” lyrical music, he responded by saying “I wanted to do something a little different, more universal. I might be from the "Hood” with a reputation that precedes me but I have also grown up and changed some of my ways and how I think about life in general. Besides my “hood” songs I wrote a song that is a reflection of my relationships in the past, the present, about my friends, high school and what I have seen couples go through. I hope everyone that listens to it enjoys the track!"

AJTheKid was born in San Francisco California to an Iraqi mother and lost his father at a young age. “AJTheKid” was recentely featured on 50 Cent’s Website for his second single he released “Living My Life” to promote his upcoming EP “Your Neighborhoodly White Boy” which is dropping on June 22^nd 2016. He also did an exclusive Interview with Dope Era Magazine on their website and will be featured in their upcoming issue that is releasing on May 27th. This Single will also be featured on 50 Cent’s website sometime during the day May 24^th.
