South Los Angeles' own Trev Deshon has released the official video to "Stressin," the title track to his debut album Stressin', featuring Casey Veggies, Garren and Xian Bell, Derrius Logan and Rome Castille.
Similar to his prior visual releases for "Greedy," featuring Garren and Xian Bell, and "Patience," Trev, who began his entertainment career in theatre, continues to lace his latest music video with A1 theatrics. While he offered a Godfather-like theme in "Patience," "Stressin" opens with a brief conversation between Trev, who's restrained in a straitjacket, and a therapist sitting across from him. As the music queues, Trev begins explaining the culprits behind his stress: his journey to success; looking after his family; supporting imprisoned friends; and the diverse women he encounters.
On Trev's debut album, the rapper opens up about his relatable and combative journey into adulthood, growing up in South Central; finding success in the music industry; and discussing the relatable woes of keeping patient while watching others become successful, accompanied with the many distractions that'll keep one from a positive path.
Prior to, Trev dropped several projects, previously collaborating with West Coast staple Casey Veggies on the record “To the Top,” TDE’s Reason, and producer DJ Wes.
