It's important not to forget where we came so checkout this new joint from The East Side Boyz, self proclaimed "Kings of Crunk." It's a throwback sound that Big Sam and Lil' Bo developed in the inspiring Hip-Hop culture of their hometown Atlanta, Georgia, has been resurfacing as of late since their smash hit record entitled "Get Low" with Crunk producer Lil Jon.
Linking back up with other Crunk affiliates such as the Ying Yang Twins, Trillvile, Young BloodZ, and Bone Crusher, they have done what is called the "Kings of Crunk Set" on the 2018 Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage Cruise and most recently Atlanta's popular One Music Fest. The East Side Boyz plans on keeping Crunk music alive by continuing with the "Kings of Crunk Set" on tour sometime in 2019.
In the meantime, The East Side Boyz has linked up with B2K's Raz B, whom is also starting to resurface back into the music scene, to release their newest version of the Crunk sound with a fitting title "Get It Low" which is taken from an upcoming project currently in development.
"Get It Low" is produced by Al "Hitman" Nolan and Adam Larossa from the Day One camp and the track combines Crunk with Raz B's Urban Pop sound, and a little bit of EDM flavor. Stay tuned for more by The East Side Boyz and the "Kings of Crunk" movement.
