Despite Rafayel's father's lengthy criminal history, his family’s trials, and tribulations in coping with these circumstances, Rafayel is still capable of delivering a record to celebrate the upside of his musical journey and career. He does this with his single "DaVinci" off of his upcoming follow up project Family Affairs. As always, Rafayel executes with a clever approach to the song orchestrating it with a catchy hook, discussing cracking the code—a relentless pursuit in proving he's one of the greatest songwriters of all time, and giving his audience yet another masterpiece of art in literature format with a commercial topic setting the tone for what’s yet to come. As much as we enjoyed his prior EP Leo Season, this seems to be the the project that picks up where Leo Season left off. No drop off in diversity, commercial appeal, image nor substance leaves us questioning what can't this Dominican artist do. Check it out below.
