Chicago’s Englewood Artist, Bowl King is trending over social media with his debuted single entitled “Pop My Shit,” which has already surpassed over 50 thousand views within the first month. The streets are anticipating him to be one of the next hip hop artists to take off from Chicago.
Since the age of 16, Bowl King’s motivation stems from having to always shift into survival mode in what most would label Chicago as an “hostile environment”, let along the music industry itself. He’d learn in order to expand his brand as an independent artist, he would maintain consistency, creativity, and the courage that would fuel his career moving forward.
Bowl King started taking his rapping career more serious and started investing in the needed production that comes with being an artist. Humbled by the struggles of growing up poor and the ways of the streets, Bowl has been consistent and dedicated to his passion for music.
While building, he’d decided to take some time off from music to realign himself and restructure himself as a man, then an artist that would leverage his career. Which is why his has reintroduced himself to the industry with “Pop My Shit.”
Bowl King has toured with Yo Gotti, Lil Durk, Calboy and has opened for Jeezy, Moneybagg Yo and several festivals. Bowl King is one of the hidden gems in Chicago who has been making some noise for some time.
Growing up with nothing Bowl King was influenced by his mother, his kids, his friends, and the streets. He turned to his mom, who did the best she could to raise him and his siblings. His mom taught him to be independent and to not depend on anyone not even her because she will not always be there.
Bowl King friends keeps him motivated daily. “I could be dead or in jail just like they are, but God had another plan for me,” said Bowl King. Humbled by the struggles of being broke and the ways of the streets he strives hard to follow his dreams.
