After a huge 2020, accomplished Florida recording artist, Lunchmoney Lewis, enters 2021 with the new single "Money Dance." A liberating track produced by David Mescon, Ben Billions, Brett Bailey and Lewis-himself, about getting to the bag, definitely needed to be heard during times of struggle. Stream it below.
The song was inspired by the recent problematic financial issues overloading the media and plaguing our nation today. Lewis, who has collaborated on hits with Doja Cat, City Girls and Dr. Luke, took to music to release frustrations and instill hope in others through catchy bass and incentive to move our feet to create money-motivation. On the making of "Money Dance," he states:
“I worked on this record last year. We had fun in the studio making this, just felt like one those records people needed to hear and enjoy, if you made some money in “2020” do your money dance, if you made 5 dollars today do your “money dance”, it’s not how much money but be happy with what you're blessed with and work to get more.”
The new song sets up anticipation for Lewis 2021 album, currently untitled, a follow-up to his pandemic project, Songs in the Key of Quarantine. Lewis closed out 2020 with a popular new song in "Cheat." In 2021, the new star plans to shine brighter than ever before.
"Money Dance" is available everywhere via Lunchbox Records and dive into more LML music, alongside his 967,015 monthly listeners, today on Spotify.
