Where are you from?
I live in Brooklyn, NY and hail from a small city outside the capital of South Carolina, Orangeburg.
Describe your sound:
My sound is an eclectic mix of some of my favorite genres. R&B , gospel, funk, hip hop, country, jazz, samba, afrobeat… I enjoy creating setting sonically and letting the lyrics paint different pictures.
Tell us about your latest track:
My latest tracks are A-side/B-side singles. Higher and Been a While… I wanted to take an old school approach due to the project I’m completing called Gemini, which deals with my duality. So one side is inspirational and positive while the other is more intimate and love based in nature.
Who inspires you?
I’m inspired by great expressions; I think everyone has it inside themselves but when it’s realized, cultivated and produced it's inspiring to witness. From the greatest James Brown and Stevie to painters and artists who draw you on Times Square. Hell, the guy who plays pots and buckets in the subway inspires me. It’s everywhere.
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
In 5 years I see myself touring, domestically and internationally and being able to touch, vibe and connect with the ppl who resonate with the music I create. Hopefully, we’ll be able to spread that love and appreciation for life across the world.
Where can we check out your sounds?
You can check me out on streaming platforms everywhere.
Tell us something about yourself that people need to know.
The ppl need to know that I’m just a vessel. God has blessed me to be able to express through multiple instruments including my voice to create vibes and moods that sometimes mere words are not able to fully capture. I’m super grateful for that gift.
