Eddie Vegas is a grime artist out of Blackpool, U.K. His single "Linkin" featuring PaperBoi, has gained quite a buzz and following over the last 6 months. As a follow up, Eddie brings us a short, but well developed and debut 3 song EP titled 'Grime Kid." And Eddie uses the short number of songs to show his versatility in actually, a very impressive manner.
Each track on this EP holds a completely different style of sound from the last. The lyrical "Linkin" shows Eddie's lyrical and rhythmic talents as him and PaperBoi tear through the beat with vocal bombs. Eddie Vegas follows up with the head banging track "Going In." With a Hip-Rock type sound of electric guitars over hard hitting 808's, Eddie Vegas demonstrates his hunger of lyrical ability as he goes in for the kill. Last but not least is a party type track "Grime Kid." With more of a "just move your body and party" type approach, the song reminds this writer of the dubstep sound...a party type hyped up track. And right about when you're getting good and into the beat...Mr. Vegas pops in and just destroys the beat with his animated style of delivery. All in all...though short...this EP is a perfect demonstration of Eddie Vegas's versatility and creative format of putting music together. Check out Eddie Vegas "Grime Kid" Today!!!
