DMV Revamped: Pusha T & HWMG To Host Twitch Concert

Today, Grammy-nominated DMV rapper, Pusha T, rallies his Heir Wave Music Group to announce the special virtual concert, DMV Revamped. Hosted by popular streaming platform, Twitch, the virtual concert will be a DMV affair, headlined by popular DMV superstars Shordie Shordie ("Bitchuary") and Q Da Fool ("Playoffs"). Performing fan-favorites and latest albums, Shordie and Q will be accompanied by an outstanding lineup of DMV's finest, including Bandhunta Izzy, 3OHBlack, Carson Key and many more. The concert will showcase Pusha T's amazing new roster which many identify as the next generation of the uniquely iconic Virginia sound. The same sound that hip-hop has admired for the entire 2000s as it gave us legends like Pharrell Williams, Timberland, Chris Brown, Trey Songs and of course, The Clipse. DMV Revamped is the perfect opportunity for newfound fans to discover game-changing new stars.

The concert is also presented by The Clout Cloud and Refresh Music Group. TCC is a fast-growing media company that promotes viral hip hop content and entertainment news. Along with CEO Ilias Anwar, key members include COO Joe Ranney and Director of Social Media Phil Osae. TCC has produced event recap visuals for top tier acts like Future, Megan Thee Stallion, and Rick Ross. They've also conducted interviews with buzzing rap acts like $not and Yung Lan.

“Our goal is to be a fusion of WorldStarHipHop and Rolling Loud. We take some of the funniest videos on the internet and post them on our platform to grow our online presence, while simultaneously producing rap-related events and concerts to showcase buzzing talent in the area,” Ilias Anwar said in a press release.

“Our aim for this event is to highlight the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas on a national level. There is so much talent in our area and we want to be a part of showcasing that talent. During the pandemic, there hasn’t been a lot going on, but we are excited to present an event that not only demonstrates the unity in DMV’s hip hop community but has an amazing charitable component by way of ticket proceeds going towards Black Youth Project.”

Refresh Music Group is owned by Merid Merid and has facilitated concerts in 22 different states, most notably for Travis Scott and Rae Sremmurd. The concert will be curated by DJ HYPEEE. It's gonna be one helluva night you don't want to miss.
