What is your name and what city do you rep?

My name is Richard Zeller aka ItsRichZ, I don't rep for any specific city. Instead i represent for all of New Jersey.


Tell us about the Garden State Hip Hop Hour Live IG Show.

The Garden State Hip Hop Hour IG Live Show is a one hour show from 8-9pm Monday through Friday. Each show has 3 different artist as guest and in between I play music from New Jersey artist. Some of the more notable guest have been Hitmen/Badboy producer Amadeus, Tsu Surf, Justin Love, Chad B, Cruch Calhoun, JB Made IT & Sosa Geek. The show is a about giving upcoming artist a chance to share new music, inform fans of projects/music they are working on and a chance to get an interview.

What is unique about this show?

What's unique about the show is the consistency, marketing, and opportunity I am giving to upcoming artist to speak about their music, obtain content during a time when new content can be harder to come across and a chance to reach a broader audience. I haven't seen any other IG Live show that has a consistent schedule always on set days and times. I also keep the show purely about music, we don't speak on rumors, drama, beef, or anything outside of their music. The show always has flyers for the artist to share and to keep my audience notified of who the guest for that night will be. Afterwards I'm cutting up the show for Instagram/YouTube content that the artist can use as part of their marketing. The show has featured guest from all over the United States you know New Jersey to California all the way to England & Spain so all these different people are tuning in and the artists are receiving worldwide exposure.

What shaped the idea behind the show?

So when the quarantine started it brought my interview platform to a screeching halt and I was wondering how i would maintain the momentum I built up over the last year and a half. So for like the first month I wanted to see the kind of IG Live content people would be creating and what people actually tuned into. I wanted to be a bit patient so that way when I had an idea I could run full force with it and was confident it would be something people wanted to see / be apart of. I watched alot of Tory Lanez's "Qurantine Radio" & Interscope A&R Baroline's IG lives and blended them together with some of my own ideas leading to the creation of the show. We are in a period of time where artist are trying to find ways to promote and I wanted to create a new platform to assist them since I could no longer conduct interviews in person anymore.

What type of music does the show feature?

The show features primarily hip hop & rnb music/artist.

The more information they can provide on themselves and what they are looking to promote definitely goes a long way. I don't worry about the amount of followers they have vs the quality of their music, work ethic, and personality.
