Chännél - "Zero Gravity"

As the year quickly goes by the final months of 2020 are upon us. New music seems to be dropping left and right. One project that has stuck out to me this month is “Zero Gravity” by Chännél. The young artist from Brooklyn has begun making a name for himself with this 8 song debut. The modern melodic R&B styles shine bright on the first song “Welcome” setting the tone for the bright punchy Album.

“Heartbreaker” may very well be my favorite song off the Album. The up tempo drum line partnered with the consistent flow of Chännél’s vocals make for a catchy club hit. His versatility as well as his lyrical ability set him apart from the current competition in this space of Hip-Hop. Continuing this energy later on in the project with his song “Auto Zone” will make all true Rap fans happy!

Working everyday in his home studio, writing, recording, and mixing tracks is the way Chännél has spent the last few months during these heavy lockdowns in his home state of New York.
