Angélique Gives Us “Heaven&Safety”

Angélique is an artist that you need to put on your radar for 2020. Her banger new single "Heaven&Safety," shows the depth of the young artist who is breaking barriers with her hypnotic brand of Hip Hop. Born and raised in a small town east of Toronto, Angélique was bound for great things. After taking the stage in her early years across Canada and the U.S., Angélique has embarked on a solo singing career. Her writing style shares the same mysterious cadence heard in early sounds of SZA and Jorja Smith.

"Pure raw, and unconditional love. Both love of self and of another. When I sat down to write Heaven&Safety, it honestly all happened in about 40 minutes. The whole song just flowed so well, I just let myself live in the space and time that Jacob was creating with that music. It was so raw, warm and honestly a little dirty. It just flowed so well."

Angélique has a passion for the shared human experience, and bares her soul on every track in hopes of offering support to others who may be experiencing something similar. "Heaven&Safety,' furthers her journey as a musician...and she has us on the edge of our seats.
