“Gimme Sum,” is meant to make you feel good. It’s supposed to make you want to dance. It’s sexy, it’s vibrant. It’s love! That’s the energy Nay like to embody as a person and I love to put it in my music. The most important thing aside from that is the Island vibe. As a half-Trinidadian girl, she like to incorporate different sounds and vibes into my songs.
It makes you think about being on the beach or on vacation. She like to make music that people can feel. The world has so many hard and horrible things going on right now, “Gimme Sum” is supposed to take your mind off of all that even if just for a few minutes. The world deserves that energy!
