Riverdale’s own Huncho Markk is showing the world he’s not the same artist he used to be. You might’ve known him as UTMR PlugHunxho, but that chapter’s closed. New name, new focus, and a new level of grind. Now working with Dillon Cash at Swaggertown Records / Colossal Records, Huncho’s making all the right moves to take his career further.

Born Marquavious Bohannon on July 21, 2003, in Atlanta, Huncho grew up with music all around him. His parents were always spinning old-school R&B like Erykah Badu and Mint Condition, so real music was in his ears from day one. As he got older, he connected with artists like Future, Chris Brown, and Lil Wayne—ones who kept it raw but still melodic.

His first song “Pain In My Cup” dropped in 2021, and it caught fire on Instagram. People connected with the emotion, the storytelling, and the realness in his voice. That’s when he knew he had something to say—and people were listening.

But the more he grew, the more he realized the name PlugHunxho didn’t match who he was anymore. So he reintroduced himself as Huncho Markk, a name that reflects his growth and his mindset. He’s still humble, still real, but now he’s moving with more purpose and more direction.

In 2024, Huncho hit the stage for the first time at a local charity event with Dvybez, performing “Blessing Me.” That moment gave him a real taste of what performing feels like—and he’s been hungry for more ever since. Later that year, he dropped his debut mixtape “Humble Youngin”, a project full of heart, hunger, and honesty.

Huncho Markk isn’t chasing clout—he’s chasing connection. He wants his fans to feel every bar, every line. He dreams of performing in front of crowds that rap his lyrics back to him, word for word. That’s the kind of artist he’s working to become.
