This weekend is the dream that every ball player dreams about. The 6'9 Wingman Emoni Bates led his team on an amazing run and capped it all off by bringing Lincoln, Ypsilanti their first D1 Michigan State Championship. This season was filled with buzzer beaters and amazing play from the entire squad. The championship game was no disappointment as Lincoln pulled away with an amazing win on a last second buzzer beater by Jalen Fisher at the Breslin Center; a place that many Spartans hope EB will decide to continue after graduating Highschool in 2022.
Hood Illustrated Magazine has been following this basketball phenom since he started making noise as a 12 year old on the AAU circuit. We (@TatesTakeSports) were blessed to interview Emoni prior to his freshman season starting and discussed this upcoming year and some of the things that he is focused on.
Congratulations from #HOODIllustrated #TatesTakeSports on an amazing year. We appreciate the opportunity to put the light on a great kid and his amazing team of family and supporters. Follow #TatesTakeSports for the exclusive NCAA and Highschool Basketball News and Content !!!!
