HOOD Illustrated Magazine has to sadly report that Chicago Native R&P Singer Johnny P has recently passed away. Johnny P is mostly known for his contributions to rap group "Do or Die" and "Twista". I would catorgorize him as the Nate Dogg of the Midwest #Respectfully. Some of his stand out guest appearances featured hit songs such as "Po Pimp" / "Player Like Me" Do or Die; "Smile" by Scarface; "Emotions" by Twista + many more contributions along with his solo projects. He debuted w/ a solo album distributed by Rap-A-Lot records in 1998 titled "The Next". We will remember Johnny P as one of the shining lights of the Midwest Hip Hop scene and gave that soulful Chi Town sound to some great records. #RIPJohnnyP @JohnnyPMusic #HOODIllustrated #PourOutALilLiquor ...
