Mario Delano Robinson, known professionally by his stage name Dreama is a London based rapper, singer, and songwriter from Westmorland, Jamaica. He is best known for his distinct approach on modern day hip hop. His sound is best described as being dark, ambient, and aggressive. Artists such as Travis Scott, Vybz Kartel, and Drake plays a heavy influence on the sound and creation of Dreama’s music. “ I would say Travis Scott, Vybz Kartel, and Drake are my biggest inspirations. I admire Travis Scott’s production value and performances that he succeeds to deliver every time, Vybz Kartel aggressiveness and creativeness that’s showcased in all of his music, and Drake’s business management when it comes to his brand and music as a whole.”

He began his musical journey by first producing and selling beats to a consumer base online, just at the age of fourteen. Dreama has always wanted to write and produce his own music, but never had the confidence to actually sit and write a song that was deemed good enough to him. At the age of seventeen he finally gained the confidence to create his first body of art; whilst hanging out with some friends who actually pursued music as well. From then, he went and built his own recording studio where he would write, create, and record music.

Being that he lived in different parts of the world such as New York, London, and Jamaica; Dreama was not only influenced, but dedicated to take these different sounds from these different cultures and merge them to create one universal sound. Living in such diverse parts of the world has shaped the way he writes and creates his music today.
