Aaron John Cruickshank was born in Plymouth, Monterserrat W.I., but spent most of his youth in Grenada. At the age of 17, due to political turmoil and under the advice of his father, ‘Krook’ moved to Vancouver, Canada to live with his sister.

Shortly after his arrival, he connected with his cousin Jessie Olivera aka Don Castro, and in 2002, The Teflon Crew was born. 2004 saw the creation of their first collaboration album titled ‘Life on 88th ave’.
