Michael Garcia AKA Garc Barz is an American Hip Hop Artist/Songwriter from Long Island, NY. Over the years Garc Barz has become a rapidly growing name in not only NY but across the country. When we asked him how that name came to be, this was his response; “ Everybody at first thinks my name is pronounced GarK Barz. It is actually pronounced GarS Barz. My last name is Garcia people call me Garc for short and I got BARS.” “Bars” are exactly what we have seen from him since his debut mixtape “FlowSick V1” which featured singles “Alone” and “Up In Smoke”. Garc followed up FlowSick V1 with the teaser sequal “FlowSick 1.5” in 2012, followed by Young&Gifted and his most recent DatPiff release, “Over Your Head”. Garc is known for his blend of upbeat intense flow mixed with creative lyricism which is usually showcasing complex double entendre and a style that engages anyone who hears his music.
This is exactly what we should expect to see from him in the years to come. Garc Barz’ recent work has showcased his talents immensely and definitely proved that he is does not only have the ability to deliver quality Hip Hop that his fans can relate too, but also couple that with complex lyrical content that sets him apart from other artists.

His debut EP titled “Timeless” will be available in over 1000 digital stores worldwide on March 21st,2015. We asked him what we should expect to hear on this new tape. “Raw talent. It is going to be one to remember.” He stated. “Timeless” will feature beats produced by MD, Dom Dillinger, TrakstarBeats, MadoeBeatz and more. Garc Barz also made it very clear that he is NOT just a rapper. “ I am not a rapper. I am a song writing, sales driven business man with BARS.” he stated. On top of putting countless hours into his new project, Garc is also Director of Operations at what may very well be the fastest growing magazine in the United States, “M Men’s Magazine”. He also scouts talent for a section of the magazine made to shine light on rising stars in the Hip Hop community, a spread called “Hip Hop Spotlight” written by Nick Stahlman. What should we expect to see from Garc Barz in the near future ? “Consistency” he said.
Garc plans to release a music video for all 6 songs on his new EP. As soon as Timeless hits the shelves, he plans to get to work on his full length album to be released in 2016. Between his gift of lyricism and entrepreneurial spirit, Garc Barz is on pace to make an unforgettable name for himself in the years to come.
