Rhapsody is a popular subscription music site where you can listen, download and rate your favorite music online. I was looking for a few new beats for my awards show intermission, when I came across music critic Mosi Reeves compilation of the Top 31 Hottest rap singles for September.

To tell you the truth I am not a music critic especially a rap analysis. However I am now a hip hop artist manager-Lexus Musiq, so I was compelled to check out what was shaking on the other side of Independent and mainstream music.

I was a little taken aback from his choices, at first I didn't know if he was going in an alphabetical order or was he compiling a list of the hottest lyrics or beats. So I took a listen for myself and his number 1 choice was Drumma Boy's funky dance hall reggae themed Round Me featuring the popular rapper 8 ball.

Here are his Top 18, (I skipped 12 songs) including 2 by Wale, a popular Nigerian rap artist who is from Washington D.C., whose forthcoming album Chain Music will be released in November, and some will be tagged with my own tasteful reviews.

• 15.Good Feeling- Flo Rida- nice funky Miami house beat

• 18.Ready for the World- Spice 1-post Tupac and every bit Veteran Oakland gangsta rapper
• 19. Take A Picture-David Dallas-nice hook and banging beat
• 20. Drunk Like That- Mathambo- hot Miami style reggae house beat
• 21. Chain Music- Wale
• 22. Bait- Wale
• 23. Bushmaster Master Music- (featuring Roc Marciano & Wais) Blas Poet- dangerous and very explicit
• 24. Amen- (featuring Jeezy & Kanye West) Pusha T
• 25. Pass At Me-(featuring Pitbull) Timbaland-This is hot stuff, nice Miami beats and great riding music.

So there you have it the rap singles from author Mosi Reeves compilation at Rhapsody with my own review.
