The Seventh Releases Warhol'esque Raps On "Cold Cream" featuring Joose The Conqueror

Michigan hip-hop head The SEVENth has returned with his brand new single "Cold Cream" featuring Joose The Conqueror available on digital music platforms. Dubbing himself the “Warhol of rap” from his love of both rap and art, The SEVENth sends head nods to Warhol with pop art color schemes and themes in the artwork, content, and in the lyric video for the song.

"Cold Cream" is the first single from The SEVENth's upcoming 11-track new project ‘Remind Me Again’ set for February 17th release.

When speaking on the title of the project, The SEVENth says “Like many artists, I had a long stint of creative block due to the world being at a stand still. I had a realization of my reason why eventually, I was reminded, again why I fell in love with art and this art form. That all led to me making this body of work, each track has a special meaning to me as far as my reason why. Each track is a personal reminder.”

Rewind to a time before artist/producer The SEVENth accumulated a million plus streams, opened up for national acts/toured internationally, and gained high profile press coverage on online media outlets. The Grand Rapids, Michigan native was teaching himself how to use hand-me-down instruments and recording gear from family members in his early adolescent years. That time spent led him, joining a marching band, experimenting with DAW software, taking some traditional music studies, and developing a passion for recording and producing music. While channeling greats like J Dilla, Jamiroqaui, and Stevie Wonder, The SEVENth Finds influence from his Midwestern inner-city upbringing, with neighboring big cities like Detroit and Chicago playing a huge role in his eclectic electronic yet soulful sound. Between his solo work, and frequent collaborations with AGO Music artists like Sango, Waldo, and Savon, The SEVENth continues to show his love for creating unselfishly and his flexibility as both an artist and music Producer.

Channeling influence from Electronic, Hip-Hop, and Alternative music, The SEVENth, creates a unique soundscape of heavy beats and infectious hooks, all while lyrically dancing around each and every groove. Handling the majority of the music production by himself, the EP also features assistance by Sango, Waldo, Joose The Conqueror & Savon.
