Ratchet and Righteous with the K7ng himself.

I had the pleasure of speaking to Louisiana native B K7ng in regards to his career and his past. After listening to his album, "Ratchet and Righteous" I was able to develop an understanding for the creative and his unique sound. 

Right off the bat M.O.O.D dives into some of the struggle and passion that went into the life that makes B K7ng who he is today. From the streets to the studio you can feel where the artist comes from with every bar. I asked him to break down his love for music and what he said to me was not only mad inspiring but powerful. Born and raised in one of Shreveport's most notorious neighbourhoods, Brian Carey cultivated his love for music at a young age. He has often shared his experiences and discovery of self-awareness in local studios and through sociopolitical activism. Know as B K7ng, he seeks to awaken this generation to self-love and independence in pursuit of true happiness.
