Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Vlore, a coastal city in the south of Albania.
In 2015 I moved to Italy for studying purposes where I'm currently living.
Describe your sound:
I try to put words to whatever the instrumental is channeling to me. As a fan of artists rather than genres, rapping over diverse types of instrumental is something I find very entertaining and narrating the story of my life through wordplay and rhymes comes naturally. So yeah, I think of my voice as an added instrument to the beat.
Tell us about your latest track:
"Smoke a joint" narrates short episodes and elements that reminds me of my childhood and how my life evolved during the years to become the person that i'm today. All this trip down memory lane while smoking a joint.
Who inspires you?
My inspirations might come from different fields but mostly artists that express themselves through words in a identifiable, unique way. I can mention Eminem, J. Cole, Kevin Gates, Warren Zevon, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits etc.
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
I see myself creating music on a daily basis, helping new artists finding their way in the music business, headlining a worldwide tour in low key venues.
Where can we check out your sounds?
You can check my sound on all the streaming platforms under the name LZO. On youtube and soundcloud you can also find my first mixtape " A bastard with a dream: Fake tits made of honey".
Tell us something about yourself that people need to know.
I have been rapping constantly for the last 10 years and during all these years my lyrics helped me understand myself better and allowed me to grow as a human being and as an artist.
I try to be truthful, creative and authentic in my lyrics and I'm working everyday to express myself better and offer something different to the people who listen to my music.
