Wil Locz was born on a small island off the coast of Haiti. In 1992 he came to America right after hurricane Andrew hit Miami, Fl. Wil wrote a lot growing up, wrote stories, wrote poems, wrote songs I was better at writing then speaking. Bullied at a young age due to not speaking english very well, it negatively impacted Wil. Wil Locz made his temper known throughout his early years. Born in a family of seven kids, wil only had one brother, and 5 sisters, and he experienced tough love from his parents. Beginning of high school is when Wil Locz made himself known and started rapping and ditching out on football practice. He was in a music group called NMC, though they were talented and began picking up recognition through out Florida, radio promotions and one of their singles on 99 Jamz, we opened for Billy Blue, Cashout, Brisco, in and out of clubs with Trick Daddy but the group broke up. After the break up of this group, he began going solo with the support of his new group and team. He had to keep doing music but it was time to get out the streets, he was losing a lot of friends and family to violence. In the streets they built a reputation that started to catch up as they tried to leave it. Through it all he never quit though. Through his music he tells his stories, and inspires others. Wil Locz is a unique face in the music industry, because when you put all his music together you’ll get a book Of who he is, what he’s been through. His visions, good times, dreams, nightmares and why he can’t quit. He will not quit, because of his passion and his dedication to music and how it saved his life.
