Ruga Mel was born in Brooklyn, NY but raised in Wilson, NC and started writing music when he was thirteen. He developed his own unique style which he describes as “witty word play with personal influenced lyrics.” While staying in Wilson, NC Ruga made a strong choice and decided to pursue music 100%. Ruga knew that music would play a compelling part in his life. He has spent the last few years perfecting his skills as a song writer as well as making his own beats. Knowing that he has a sound that no one has he is ready to make a splash in the music scene.
