There is a force of heat burning through the frost of Alaska but it isn't global warming. The rise in temperature comes from the music of one up and coming emcee who is flooding his state with hot music. Marvin Mayo proudly states that some of his biggest musical influences are Andre 3000, J.Cole, MF DOOM to name a few, and it shows in his creative content. Stepping out the box of the "popular" copy cat music era, Marvin delivers with original sound and style.
His newly released album "Are No Stars After All," has been reaching all the right people and quickly bringing light to the unique feel he brings with his music. And in the fashion of "giving them more of what they ask for," Marvin teamed up with cinematographer Matt Crow to drop a trippy visual for the deep and metaphoric single "Dope Sick." A great combination of the two collaborating ideas and presenting an entertaining yet eerie video performance. And it perfectly fits the hidden emotion with in the song "Dope Sick."
