Johnny Mac, 23, out of Los Angeles is one of the most interesting new artists on the rise. Johnny doesn't like to label with one genre as he creates singer song writer pop all the way to rap, as his more popular releases are hip hop & pop. The artist first started making music at the age of 15 and has developed as a writer ever since. Growing up in Chicago he finds influence in Frank Sinatra, Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, and Lana Del Rey. This track "Go" Mac talks about the recent move to Los Angeles and his attitude towards the people around him (If they ain't behind me then I gotta let him go). It seems this song is reclaiming his confidence and belief in himself after some lonely months spent in Hollywood.
