“I just started to make new mixes and would like to share it with the world again” KRC returns with a huge new dark DnB mix
Where are you from?
Seattle, Washington, United States
Describe your sound:
I'm mostly known for Drum & Bass / Jump-Up, but I like to play different genres and not get stuck doing the same thing.
Tell us about your latest track:
The latest (Smilings My Favorite) is a dark themed Drum & Bass and Jump-Up mix.
Who inspires you?
I've been inspired by many artists that branch out from many aspects of music. It's difficult to pin down people within different types of music (not just electronic). For the Drum and Bass mix, it would probably Hive, Dom & Rolland, Teebee, John B, and Aphrodite
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
This is a hard question to ask. I've been doing this for 10+ years, but took a long break after my house flooded and melted most of my equipment. I just started again to make new mixes and would like to share it with the world again.
Where can we check out your sounds?
Tell us something about yourself that people need to know.
I started out playing in 1999. It was more House and Nu-Energy, but quickly moved on to Drum & Bass as my genre of choice to play. In the early 2000's I started into turntablism, and have been #2 in a battle in Seattle, WA. I've since stopped as I moved to digital. I've started recording mixes again due to requests from friends and old fans.
