A&R "Dough From Da Go" is hard at work behind the scenes to bring his new project to the masses. "Mineral Water" is already gaining a buzz from Dough's networking and grind process. Collaborating with many many artists, producers, vocalists and Dj's from Chicago. The goal is to create and embrace Chicago's real sound, as well as the artists who are out there daily and really pushing their music, while almost ignored by the industry. Many know that alot of "popular" Chicago artists today have a questionable history. As emcees and Djs struggled to build a name for themselves, an entire onslaught of artists, producers and Djs were swept into the spotlight almost over night. Thing is, most of them, had no track record in the Chicago underground circuits. They suddenly just...Came Out. Since then Chicago's indie scene is hustling 3 times harder with no recognition until they imitate the popular sound....Thats where Dough comes in.
Dough is bringing together pure talent and unquestionable hustle. With a goal to refresh the game, Dough is pulling together the most talented and focused, and creating something legendary in Chicago's Hip Hop history. A compilation of creation, and something Chicago Music listeners haven't seen since the late 90's early 2000's, when the popular "ChiBangin" and "Sox Park Mob" mixtapes were coming out.
And like a true entrepreneur Dough is documenting the work. Continuing to release short behind the scenes documentaries, Dough is capturing the hustle, the determination, the hardwork and hope. And it all gives you a "personal" type feel, like you are there as it is all being created.
