North Carolina native; Jody Lo continues his winning streak with another project released. This mixtape holds to the usual standard from Jody Lo as far as quality, so in other words there’s no shortage of lyricism and catchy bars. Titled “Dope” because its about the effects of dope and it’s a dope project so the title is a double entendre. The theme track mentions rappers lying about selling dope but others having almost no other option in low income communities, while rappers as role models influenced generations to throw their lives away. What makes this project unique is the diversity in the content which is out of the usual for Jody Lo, and this project has a song for every mood.
