Hailing from the Birmingham, Alabama, Female Hip Hop recording artist Ashaley J came out the gate swinging in the music industry in 2014, and since then has amassed a heated street buzz with her undeniable catchy hooks, good looks, and a fan base that have represented her passionately under the persona of #TeamAshaley.
Over many years of honing her craft as a standout among female artists, Ashaley J has had the opportunity to perform at several prominent events and venues including Stankonia Studios in Atlanta, during the BET Hip Hop Awards weekend 2016, and the 95.7 Jamz Car N’ Bike Show in Birmingham. Harboring a signature style that is completely her own, Ashaley J’s music also garnishes inspiration from her artist influences that range from Tupac, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Mos Def, Janet Jackson, Common, Nas, to many others.
Her most recent heatwave single “Drive Thru” showcases Ashaley J’s passionate mic skills and integrated rhyming techniques that has set the bar high in the realm of female rappers. The track is currently available on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, and other digital music retailers. She’s currently in the production stages of her upcoming album “Spur Of The Moment”, slated for release early 2019. She will also be following up with a South Eastern Tour, and plans to release her highly anticipated EP “Love vs. Hate” which will be dropping Summer 2019.
