Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Abigail Jerri is a vibrant young rising star who wasted no time starting her career as a performing artist, beginning to write and perform songs at the age of 4. By the time she was 14, she had started recording her original songs at a professional studio. Using a diverse group of artists such as Christina Aguilera, Aerosmith, Cindy Lauper, and Clara as influences, Abigail has been prolific in her career of writing and performing. She incorporates her other passions, such as gymnastics, in her performances on the stage.
In Pittsburgh, Abigail attended a performing arts high school, majoring in musical theater. She has been featured with Pittsburgh's hip-hop artists on several songs in duets and as a background vocalist. She also has performed her original songs on many stages around Pittsburgh. While still in the Steel City, she released her first album, "Take a Chance", and lives by those words. Subsequently, she released her single and one of her latest videos, "Bad Girl".
In her music, Abigail aims to explore such concepts as the dichotomy of doing what one feels is right, verses doing what society "tells" one to do. She also writes about the struggles of life and dealing with them in a positive way; having good intentions and keeping true to ones character.
Among her many achievements, Pittsburgh Style and Glam LLC in 2018 bestowed upon Abigail its "Rising Star" award. After taking part in the Judy Stakee songwriting retreat in November of 2017, she decided to spend more time in Nashville. There, she has performed many shows, including an engagement at the legendary Exit/In. Abigail continues to grow in her artistry and create new music.
