As a Hip Hop Tastemaker who initially started off as a fan and supporter of anything independent in the hip hop realm; I've been fortunate to meet, engage, conversate and kick it with some of the most important artist of our generation at the time when they were barely known and just beginning to start their path to success.
The loss of Nipsey Hu$$le hit me pretty hard as someone who understands the value of creating quality, branding and entreprenuership. My introduction w/ Nip came in March of 2009 off the strength of my relationship w/ Jay Rock and TDE while on tour in Flint. At that time my hustle game was crazy; my publication begin to grow from a Local magazine to a Nationwide publication the time when I introduced the Midwest to Jay Rock, Nipsey and Kendrick Lamar his movement and they have supported likewise. As i had said it before Nip is the Master P of the 2000's; his legacy will continue way past his death and his contribution to our culture is forever changed for the better.
