Michael Vick is preparing himself for a return to the NFL... It bothers me that his sentence was MORE SEVERE THAN A PERSON WHO HAD BEEN CONVICTED OF CHILD MOLESTATION.

Do you feel he has full paid his debt to society.. And if you were an owner of a NFL franchise, will you pick him up?

Vick was a victim and the worse part is that we as people of color let another one of our stars take a personal loss for something that we as a culture don't stress as much as lawmakers. We don't share ice cream cones with our dogs, they don't sleep in our beds, they don't have an equal vote in family decisions... We love dogs, but we understand that they serve a purpose for their owner(is it ok to say we own them or will PETA march on that to). Dogfighting my be brutal, savage and maybe even distasteful but in my opinion is more a moral question then legal. Remember that Vick himself lays his life on the line with every snap of the ball to feed, house, and pamper these animals... I guess it's to much to ask for a lil resoprosity?

Mi.
This situation just shows me that some people don't have their priorities set... It's amazing to see how the media feeds into this non story. I believe Vick got the raw end of this deal but, he is fortunate to b back in the league so he can prove to everybody that he indeed is a better person after this... I FEEL HE HAS PAID HIS DEBT AND IF I WERE A NFL OWNER... I'LL GIVE HIM THAT SECOND CHANCE. Their has been worst things done by athletes.. and / or people in corporate america.
to my niggaq mike vick......tell da judge he kill deers
I believe he is a victim now! He has paid his debt and it's time for everybody to move forward and stop making this black man pay over and over again for something he already paid for!
I'm just waiting to hear what team will pick him up. I'm pretty sure someone will, but of course they'll have to deal with the crazy PETA people.
He's in a good position now.. back in the league... got everybody checking out for him... even those 4-6 weeks of suspension will build his buzz and anticipation - When it's all said in done he'll have a productive season / shock alot of haters and redeem himself like all the great athletes who get a second chance... Look at Ray Lewis - they wuz all over his head now don't nobody even remember why he wuz in trouble.
The only thing Michael Vick is the victim of is snitch ass niggas who he "supposedly" had on his side. The other niggas he was with on that shit would have been coo if they just kept they mouth shut and took they bid. I'm pretty sure Mike would have looked out for them during and after they stint if they would have been stand up and shut the fuck up. In my eyes, he has served his debt to society but society ain't the NFL. There's alot of money riding on the NFL, which has passed baseball as America's so called "Great Pasttime" and is the #1 sport in the world(Besides wack-ass soccer of course). Unfortunatly, there will be bullshit(Deserved or not) that will come with signing him for a franchise and any franchise out there would have to weigh out if the reward will be greater than the backlash. On talent alone, I would sign him. After being in the clank for 2 years, he still probably better than 90% of the backups in the NFL right now. I think only a stable franchise from Ownership all the way down(Like the Steelers or Patriots) would be able to handle the baggage that will initially come with signing him, at least right now. But that's one of the beauties of America. We, as a society, are forgiving to those who bounce back from mistakes and make the most of a new opportunity(Ask Kobe Bryant). If he helps a team win and get's back to doing what we know Mike Vick can do on the field, all this shit we be blown over in a couple of weeks or so and we will talk about how he's killing NFL Defenses instead of killing Pit Bulls.
That's real shit Ld
