D(M)V native, Lucky Ezy aka Lucky Ezemobi was born in Oakland, California. He's a 2018 Howard University graduate with a degree in health science. Lucky Ezy always had an interest in music and it begins from singing in the choir. He piqued his interest by making beats first before becoming more serious.
Unlike most artists today, Lucky Ezy didn't have access to most professional tools that are used to record. This setback didn't discourage him but fueled his inner passion for music. He enjoys recording afrobeat music and makes sure that he doesn't mimic his influencers while creating his sound. "I just look at them as motivation to keep making quality music and one day been on the same level or better than them," says Lucky. In 2019, Lucky Eze released his first EP titled "Of You." Since then, he has recorded a series of albums and singles including "Regime" and other EPs such as "Mama Africa" and "Open-Minded."
" I make music because of my passion and desire for the world to hear my voice"~ Lucky Ezy
In June, Lucky Ezy collaborates with a producer named Zena for his latest single, "Heal." It is a song about love, healing from broken love, and finding something new that you can call true love. We fall in and out of love, so it is important to heal before finding new love. Healing helps a person to become better. "Heal" is available on the digital music platform Soundcloud. It will be available on other streaming platforms soon. Be sure to connect with Lucky Eze on most social media and digital music platforms.
