Hip Hop Isn't Dead... It Lives In The HOOD

Recently 20 year-old rapper Luh Dino released his new project PHP: Prayer Heals Pain.  Assisted by Toosi, Vedo and SlimeLife Shawty, his latest project tackles the themes of pain, healing and redemption throughout the album.

Inspired by his own life experiences after facing a tumultuous 2020 and 2021, Luh Dino, touches on a host of issues ranging from love and relationships to  almost losing his mom and his aunt, two of his biggest inspirations, to COVID-19.

Like a true artist, Luh Dino has turned the pain into heartfelt emotional music and you can see him expressing those feelings across the 15-track album that has been receiving critical acclaim from blogs across the globe.

"Everything in the project is what I've gone through or experienced or seen someone close to me go through. This project is my milestone and the start of a new me. It's a lot of songs that cater to women because I love women. There are a lot of R&B vibes but I also have turn-up strip club bangers as well," Luh Dino said.

On this project Luh Dino's R&B side continues to shine as he delivers melodic rap-fused tracks that inspire and evoke emotions. One of the standout songs from the project is, “Lil Thottie," currently a Top 30 Radio record and in the Top 15 countdown on Sirius XM's Hip Hop Nation.

Needlesstosay streaming has also been a positive for Luh Dino who recently surpassed over 9 million streams cumulatively.
