Leo Dessi is on the rise this year as he is already in the spotlight with his new single and video for "Superstars." Teaming up with Ty Senoj, the video and track will definitely heat up your winter. Leo is a Franco-Italian Hip Hop artist who currently resides in Los Angeles, as he brings his new moniker to life, after releasing music for the past 6 years under the name Art of Shades.
Growing up, Leo's love for music ran deep at an early age. He spent 10 years studying piano at the Conservatory in Paris, 2 of which were spent at the American School of Modern Music in Paris. Impressive from the start.
Leo shares of the song:
"It was a song that was made during a time of creating several songs. Superstars stood out the most to us while Ty was going on the vocals. We knew then that the vibe was catchy and complemented the instrumental I made.I produced the whole song. I made that guitar loop and thought it was pretty cool so I kept producing it until Ty the singer came and started top-lining it. We did very few runs and the song was there. It went pretty fast!"
His music brings a dose of melancholy and classical influences that brings a unique perspective into the urban game. With his time spent producing and recording music in Toronto, LA and Paris, he blissfully blends elements of Hip Hop and Electronica to take on a sound and vision that is truly his own.
