Kensley Fonrose (born August 7th, 1994) best known as Kinny Sway is an American rapper and songwriter from Boston, Massachusetts.

He grew up in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. A childhood friend gave him the nickname “Kinny Sway" when he was 12 after his ability to sway and take over almost any situation. Kinny begun rapping after a close friend of his whom was also a rapper was shot and paralyzed. He begun to feel it was his mission to fulfill the dreams of a dear friend.In his late teens, he began free-styling with friends in a rap group by the name of Canvas Coupe. He was unique because he always had a direct laid back flow and his lyrics were always confident lyrics about his real life experiences. A boost to his drive to turn rapping into a full-time career came in 2017. With the split from Canvas Coupe came with a new fire to tell his story for what it really was. In the summer of 2018 Kinny Sway released his first single “Colombiana.” Which quickly Grew a buzz on youtube.Wide notice also came with the release on the internet of a video of Travis Scott playing Kinny's single “Colombiana" at the star's birthday party. Kinny Sway is currently wrapping up his debut mixtape with a variety hard hitting beats melodic flows and also killer lyrics, the best has yet to come.
