Hassan Khaffaf has been making a name for himself with his breakout single “SANDNXGGA.” Now the burgeoning MC, who is signed to Damon Dash’s Poppington label, follows it up with “How Hass?” On the self-produced track, Hassan raps about his come-up, signing to the Roc-A-Fella co-founder (“How Hass signed to Dame with no chain on?”), and linking with Kanye West (“How Hass got Ye in there?”), who makes a cameo in the music video. After hearing “SANDNXGGA” in the studio, Kanye told Hassan, “I need to be on this.”

The montage clip also features throwback footage of Dame during his infamous meeting with Def Jam over JAY-Z’s Black Album, plus an appearance from Dame’s French bulldog Governor.

“Dame is chilling / Ye is chilling / What more can I say? / A lot more,” raps Hassan.

On Oct. 18, he will release his debut album, executive produced by Damon Dash. The following day, he will host his second annual “God Forbid Night,” which will also feature a performance and a Beat Auction installation produced entirely by Hassan and special guests.
