djWRCKS iT just dropped a hot new joint titled "Heaven's A Mile Away". Check it out now!
Many people will come up with their own opinions of djwrcks.it songs. I’m writing this to tell you that they don’t know him. DJWRCKS.iT said “I wrote this song in a time of sadness in my life. As the song grew on me and aged over the past few months, before I decided to put this work of art out, I realized the message was greater than what I had originally written.”
Heavens A Mile Away is deeply relative to society and directly correlates with how much loss of life has been occurring. At the rate of death increasing this year, it seems like someone is passing away within every mile of another. As DJ sings “ Why couldn’t you see it my way” it’s as if he’s explaining to the dead that he was trying to save you and because you didn’t listen you are gone.
In the context of djwrcks.its writing, it almost sounds similar to how God treats people who decide they disagree with him. He is fine with it, and still loves you no matter what. It’s weird to see a biblical meaning amongst so much darkness but somehow the message is very clear. “If you right I’m wrong ok!, before you throw my love away, why couldn’t you see it my way? Just tell me if I’m in the way, before you throw my love away”. Although it seems as if he is questioning your actions it’s actually a way for DJ to ask the masses of people why they are so inclined to not listen to what he is saying and ask themselves why?
As a triple threat artist with talents in Writing, producing, and djing, it is incredible to see someone with so much talent care so deeply about other people that he would go to the lengths of sacrificing his personal friendships with people who are not believers in him to save the many with his message.
The greatest message in “Heavens A Mile Away” is agreeing to disagree for the sake of life. There is no reason in fighting and killing because simply you do not agree. Saving lives is not easy and the way we, as a humanity have been feeling as a whole is showing we are becoming more and more demanding as opposed to understanding. “I’d rather be lonely, not lowkey, or somebodies trophy” is relative to very many different aspects of life from relationships, partnerships, and agreements. DjWRCKS.iT ends his second verse with this line basically saying that he would rather be all those things than to just let you live life the way you are doing so. Knowing he may very well lose you but that’s a risk he’s willing to take for the sake of saving your life.
