Chent have been a big player in the Norwegian Hip-Hop underground for ages. Know to assosiate with the old school giants in Noway.
He have made remixes for Wu-Tang Clan, Fatboy Slim, Rewire, Gorgon City and meny others,
His productions is known to have a killer bass, while maintainig a genuine Old-Scool meets New-School feel fusioned with the distinct Scandinavian sound on top. The sound have been refered to as NoSchool.
His lyrics often reflect a Gangster rap setting with a Consius mindset in center.

His debut as a Rapper was on a demo in 2001, but he started producing even earlier, and is said to produce his first compleate album at the age of 11, in the mid 90's.

Even if he is known to hang out with Kanye West, their freindship has soured after Kanye baited one of his albums after they exchanged ideas at the 2008 European Music Awards, Chent replied with saying "Fuck Kanye West" on a mixtape released in 2010. The mixtape was sold out in few days and Kanye never forgave Chent for throwing him out of the underground grace.

Chent seemed to disappear in 2015 after his album was taken down, but after confronting a violent gang in his old hood his apparently made his comeback in order to set things straight, Chent was jumped by 5 gang members after confronting one who disrespected him on a few occasions. After being beaten for an hour Chent responded by laughing, spitting in their faces and challenging to a fair fight with the pressence of his gang, The attackers acsepted, and Chent showed up with 5 of his people, the attackers had then brought 30 gang-members, When confronting the gang the person who had beef with Chent was nowhere to be found, Chent went to his mothers house and she gave him some sensere apolegies. After that noone have questioned who basically owns the hood.

In other news Chent have been covered for things as steeling, public knife fights, possesion of THC based substances and making a mockery of Norways got talent amogst others.

Now he states clearly that he is more concerned about taking care of his famely and making a honest living then running the streets, something that is reflected in his song "SammavaruTRU" wich is local slang for "It doesn't mather whut u fink", who adresses some of his past as being in his past.
Still he said "Don't think getting a famely to care for has made me less triggerhappy".
