Nathaneal Mosher’s newest single “I Don’t Wanna Die Young,” is a powerful anecdote about his feelings towards dying young. It drops on the anniversary of famous basketball star Kobe Bryant’s death.
Mosher states that this song was inspired by the death of Kobe Bryant. Mosher had looked up to Bryant as an idol, a hard worker, and a model of morals. Nathanael reflects that he “want[s] the world to know about my work ethic the way Kobe is known for his.”
Mosher hopes that in the event that he dies young, people revere him, and understand that he worked as hard as he could. It’s clear that Mosher is a hard worker, it’s revealed in his songs, lyrics, and artistic work.
Mosher is set to release his debut EP, NATHANAEL this spring, covering themes of grief, suicide, and the role of art within his life. We look forward to hearing more from this young, multi-talented artist.
